Job Description
We are looking for a talented Supervisor to manage the day-to-day media planning and strategy functions for a well-known entertainment client. This position will directly to an Associate Director. The Supervisor will manage a planner and associate and, will collectively, steward the strategy, development, and execution of media plans for various entertainment campaigns. This role will lead communication with clients, internal stakeholders and across investment channels. As the Supervisor, you will work alongside the Associate Director to provide the strategic vision, goals, and target dates to internal teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all teams have a clear understanding of what needs to be done. Ideal candidates for this role will leverage their experience, knowledge, and skills to come up with innovative solutions to address the needs of our clients, agency, and internal teams.
Role Objectives:
Identify and analyze target audiences for media campaigns
Development of the overarching media strategy, channel strategy, media objectives, media mixes, and flighting
Present media strategies to internal stakeholders and clients in a clear and compelling manner, with well-reasoned recommendations and thought out rationale
Manage campaign timelines and deliverables, and provide guidance and oversight to internal teams
Stay up-to-date on media trends and developments, and develop thought leadership pieces
Train, mentor, assign tasks and review the work of junior members on the team
Management of campaign budgets, and other billing administrative functions
Accountable for accuracy and media intelligence
May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time
Serve as a resource to other team members in resolving complex problems and issues
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
3+ years of experience in media planning/strategy
Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite with a focus on Excel, GWI, MRI, Mbox, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, IMS, Flowchart Software, R/F and Optimization Software, Social Tracking tools, comScore, Prisma,
Manage projects, resources, stakeholders, and team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work for clients and internal stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with internal teams, leadership and clients
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to provide context, simplify complex media concepts and strategies, and deliver clear and compelling narratives to ensure that media and marketing clients can fully grasp our recommendations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, having demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to client feedback, and adjust campaign strategies accordingly
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify key insights, and make strategic recommendations
Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring junior team members
Strong independent and logical thinking skills, with the ability to work through complex problems and develop effective solutions
Knowledge of media channels, with a strong focus on digital investment

Compensation Range: $73,500 - $108,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
