Summary: Assists in the supervision of daily operations and systems for the Hospital’s Registration and Cashier departments.
Trains and assists new hires and current staff on registration, Assists staff experiencing problems with systems and with Registration and Insurance at point of services.
Serves as a resource for all Registration, at both RWMC/OLF. This requires extensive knowledge of Registration and cashiering functions in Meditech. Assists the manager in coordinating daily operations and goals of the department.
This individual will work collaboratively with other Hospital departments to ensure accurate and timely registrations, proper distribution of information, and to issue resolution. Possess excellent computer, customer service and communication skills.
The position will cover first, second, and third sift at both RWMC/OLF, as needed to meet departmental requirements.
This position may also complete other duties as assigned.
Education: Two years of college, or 3-5 years of experience in a hospital or Medical Business Office setting.

Knowledge of third party regulations and compliance issues. Knowledge of Hospital Charity Program and State Assistance Programs

Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements : Duties are a combination of extensive mental and manual skills. Manual skills are required such as finger, eye and hand dexterity for such activities as utilization of a computer. Continuous combination of sitting, standing and walking throughout the work day.
