JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Under the direction of the ServiceManager, the Shift Supervisor directs, coordinates and supervises thedaily activities of all mechanics. The Shift Supervisor is alsoresponsible for discussing vehicle problems with customers, diagnose thecustomers\' repairs through the use of preliminary test drives anddelegate necessary work assignments to the technicians utilizing theirabilities, knowledge and background. Shift: Second Sign-on Bonus: \$2500Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Discuss vehicle problems withcustomers. Diagnose customer repairs through the use of preliminary testdrives and delegate necessary work assignments to the techniciansutilizing their abilities, knowledge and background. Perform preventivemaintenance and repairs as needed, along with supervising and assistingother technicians. Share knowledge and be able to give instructions andguidance to technicians as required. Delegate or personally test-driveall repaired vehicles in shop. Enforce safety policies in the shop area.Maintain good customer relations. Determine the method of repair forshop equipment. Fill in for Service Advisor as needed. All other dutiesas assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentrequired, additional trade school training preferred. Five (5) to seven(7) years of related experience in truck service operations. Mechanicaland refinishing knowledge required. Valid driver\'s license required;CDL required, or ability to obtain.
