The Mechanical Intern will be introduced to HVAC design for manufacturing buildings with the opportunity to visit our clients facilities and experience process operations. The intern will gain exposure to piping and instrumentation schematics as well as 2D / 3D CAD modeling.ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.Occasional travel may be required.Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.QualificationsCurrent enrollment in a two or four year ABET accredited college degree program.Second or third academic year preferred.Demonstrated organizational skills.Salary Range: $20-$23 depending on year in schoolEEO/M/F/Veteran/Disability
