Internship Overview:
As an intern on the Testing team at ATS, you will have the opportunity to design projects, test setups and assist with the testing procedures for our growing business in Phoenix. The internship is going to include a lot of direct hands-on Lab Testing in the aerospace and defense projects work to utilize your knowledge and gain great experience in the testing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with leaders and other engineers/technicians to design test setups and procedures to help grow our business in the aerospace and defense industry.
Common tasks performed will include, but not limited to: design and setup test procedures for shock testing, pressure waves, dust and rain testing, pneumatics, high impact and utilize 3D modeling, finite element analysis and computer simulations.
Opportunity to learn and apply the various lab testing procedures and create impactful testing designs

Qualifications
Requirements:
Must be a Full-Time Student, ideally in an Engineering Bachelor’s program
Strong interest in the Materials Testing industry
Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
