Overview

　　Provide leadership to the children of the Summer Fun Program at the Spring Valley Salvation Army Corps. This program will be based around the mission statement of the Salvation Army and all teachers will be required to adhere to this. The Summer Fun Program will operate weekdays from July 1, 2024, to July 26, 2024 and staff must be prepared to serve for the entirety of the program.

　　Responsibilities

　　Supervise students during clubs, classroom activities, and recreation times.

　　Lead a club daily in which children gain knowledge and experience of a specific activity or topic.

　　Assist with daily devotions and provide guidance to children in the program.

　　Effectively work with teachers and Program Director in providing a pleasant and safe learning environment for children.

　　Present and report disciplinary issues to the Program Director and assist in evaluating each situation as it arises.

　　Log attendance as well as injury and disciplinary reports in an accurate and timely manner.

　　Qualifications

　　High School Diploma

　　At least 2 years’ experience working with children.

　　Note: This is a Part-Time Seasonal position.
