Our Team Lead will oversee the work of staff engineers, providing them with mentoring and guidance. Working with your Project Manager and other team members, you'll grow your expertise across many disciplines. We establish long-term, meaningful relationships with clients both locally and nationally. Your primary responsibilities include:Serve as a Team Lead for all internal department managers to facilitate cost estimates, design concepts, and planning in conjunction with field observationsAccountable for QA/QC reviews for the engineering teamReview technical and civil engineering drawings and make revisions accordinglyIndependently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria based on sound engineering principlesCollaboratively use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignmentsPerform detailed site design work on a variety of projects and prepare reports, studies, and project documents (as required)Support the preparation of scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignmentsDelegate and coordinate work with entry-level engineers, technicians, and administrative staffMotivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment by providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional developmentAssist with communicating information pertaining to specific assignments or meetings to clients, sub-consultants, or government agenciesOther project and supervisory duties as assignedPosition requirements include:Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringAbility to motivate and mentor a teamProfessional Engineer Licensure (PE) preferred10+ years of professional experience including 1-2 years of managing a team.Proficient in the use e of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD Microsoft Office SuiteBenefits and Perks Include:Flexible and Hybrid Work SchedulePaid Time Off - Credited to You 100% Upfront401K with a Company MatchRewards and Recognition ProgramTraining and Development to Foster Professional GrowthPaid HolidaysMedical / Dental / Vision Coverage including High Deductible Health PlanWelcome BoxCasual Dress CodeReimbursement for Professional LicensesPaid Time Off for Community Team Service EventsShort-Term / Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Maternity / Paternity LeaveEmployee events such as lunches and outings to foster a positive work environmentCESO is a principle-centered organization that aligns with strong service values, integrity, and authenticity.
