Kent Denver is currently seeking educators for its substitute teaching list.We are looking for candidates that have at least a bachelor's degree, someexperience supervising students in a middle school or upper school classroomsetting, interest in quality education, and the belief in the criticalimportance of diversity in the life of a school. We seek substitute teacherswho can provide coverage for both planned and short-notice absences of ourregular instructors. We would like our substitute teachers to be personable,bright, organized, reliable, interested, and interesting.
We are especially interested in educators who can substitute teach for STEMsubjects or world languages (French, Spanish or Chinese).Following our background check and review, successful applicants will havetheir names and contact information placed on our substitute teacher list.Applicants should provide both a resume and a letter of interest, whichshould describe the availability of the applicant for substitute teaching,the applicant's experience in education, and the academic disciplines andage levels for which the applicant can provide substitute coverage.
