　　Substation Structural Engineer - DUTIES : Perform intermediate calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer. Solves problems using well established scientific principles. Analyze structures using various structural engineering software programs. This specifically involve working with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D, using steel structuring detailing with strong experience using 3D modeling using SDS2; reviewing, monitoring and ensuring compliance requirements are met for design including Standards, specification and local codes and regulations for power delivery and substation design; and producing structural design details for engineering review for power delivery and substation design. Further, designs buildings and building foundations, equipment platforms and foundations, pipe racks, and miscellaneous concrete and steel structures Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and other supporting documentation for projects. Prepare engineering drawings and calculations, include specifications related to the discipline. Develop small to mid-size project or proposals. Work with designers to develop engineering and design documents as needed for the project. Review, monitor and ensure compliance requirements are met for design (e.g. Standards, specification and local codes and regulations etc.)

　　MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

　　Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, and 8 years structural engineering experience to involve using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D. Additionally, 5 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) using steel structuring detailing with strong experience using 3D modeling using SDS2; (2) reviewing, monitoring and ensuring compliance requirements are met for design including Standards, specification and local codes and regulations for power delivery and substation design; and (3) producing structural design details for engineering review for power delivery and substation design.
