　　The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking anorganized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as SubsidySupport Team Supervisor. Under administrative direction, this positionwill plan, review, and coordinate the activities of a team ofprofessional staff engaged in the provision of pre and post adoption andguardianship services. Additionally, the position will monitor to ensurethat staff make appropriate decisions regarding approval of adoptiveplacements and subsidies.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Serves as Subsidy Support Team Supervisor

　　Serves as working supervisor

　　Establishes and administers regional adoption goals and objectives

　　Consults with staff responsible for adoptive resource development,including professional, paraprofessional, contractual employees, andstudents

　　Establishes and implements a team-based program of staff development andtraining for subordinate staff to ensure the ongoing communication ofrules and procedures and social work practice knowledge, methods, andskills

　　Administers the adoption assistance program for area of oversight,including primary approval or denial of applications, recertifications,revisions, amendments, and terminations

　　Provides input into regional adoption budget projections

　　Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonablywithin the scope of the duties enumerated above
