　　Ferris State University is seeking to fill a 1-year temporary position for a Study Abroad Coordinator in the Office of International Education. The coordinator, in support of the goals of the office, will be part of an innovative and student-centered team of International Educators. The position requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The selected candidate will be a student-centered professional and a team player.The coordinator will be responsible for supporting campus globalization efforts including event planning and coordinating co-curricular activities and engagements to encourage experiential learning. Responsibilities include advising students, marketing study abroad programs, developing summer programs, informing campus community of global opportunities, and supporting faculty offering short-term study abroad programs. The anticipated start date for this position is November of 2023. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
