JOB DESCRIPTION

　　Drive the feasibility of clay and digital design models. Be responsible and accountable for your designated interior or exterior zone from program conception to robust engineering handover. Draw on your own experience as well as communicate and engage with other regional/global engineering and attribute experts. Generate and maintain the Concept Sections and conduct 3D layouts as required to define hard points and solutions to the surface development team. Filter technical input from engineering and ensure final issued surfaces are aligned with the technical input. Lead regular reviews and meetings with your engineering and attribute counterparts to identify creative solutions to support the studio surfaces. Report on your status against the prescribed work plan.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Bachelor's degree in industrial design, transportation design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience Ability to concept surface and engineering proposals in CATIA, Alias or other relevant software. 3. 5+ years of outstanding design, packaging, and 3D CATIA/3Dx modeling skills Familiarity with vehicle layout/package, body and trim, production process, latest automotive trends, regulations, & consumer ratings that guide vehicle product advancements & constraints. Hands on experience in narrowing product scope and facilitating decisions on complex product, including leading and presenting to decision making forums. Big picture mindset and passion for engineering of innovative, breakthrough, and class leading products. Demonstrated experience in design studio procedures and progression, and ability to provide a creative and engineering focus to enable creative vehicle-level solutions & alternatives in support of Design.
