　　Summary:

　　Student Surgical Technologist The Student Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation and care of surgical patients under the supervision of another Surgical Technologist and Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining the sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgical team and being constantly vigilant to the adherence of aseptic technique.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent required

　　Current enrollment in an accredited surgical technology program. Must graduate from accredited surgical technology program within 12 months.

　　Basic Life Support certification required
