  We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer (PE) to be part of our structural engineering team for the design of hydraulic structures. This position is hybrid and is located in our Littleton, CO office. We are also providing the option to work from our Fort Collins, CO, Holden, MA, or Portland, OR offices.

  As our Structural Engineer (PE), you will further develop leadership skills and the ability to take on new challenges in structural engineering for hydraulic structures. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on truly one-of-a-kind projects. Our primary clients are in the municipal water supply/treatment and power generation industries. Water supply and treatment projects include new design and rehabilitation of pump stations and treatment facilities. Hydropower and flood protection related projects include upgrades and modifications of existing dams, spillways, hydraulic gates, and design support for fish passage facilities.

  Responsibilities:

  Support all phases of structural engineering from proposal development through final design and construction

  Preparation of project scopes and budgets; managing structural engineering projects

  Analysis and design of steel and concrete structures using structural engineering software and spreadsheet calculations

  Preparation of design and construction documents

  Developing proposals, interacting with clients, project execution, and reporting

  Qualifications:

  Registered as a Professional Engineer

  5-10 years of structural engineering experience

  Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  Master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)

  Combination of field experience and office experience (preferred)

  Experience with water projects, hydraulic structures, and dam safety work

  Proficient with AutoCAD and STAAD.Pro or similar structural modeling software

  Strong knowledge of AISC steel and ACI concrete design codes

  Strong understanding of structural behavior and structural construction materials

  Ability to organize and manage several tasks/projects ongoing at the same time

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
