Description:

　　We are currently seeking a Structural Designer to support oil and gas projects

　　Structural Designers perform complex structural designs - they are responsible for drafting computer models based on project needs and creating drawings that are used for final construction plans

　　They prepare structural plans and implement feedback from Structural Engineers

　　Candidates need to be proficient with AutoCAD and CADworx

　　Civil design experience not required but a plus

　　Based out of Arvada, CO

　　Responsibilities:

　　Coordinate the best design solution by applying industry knowledge while considering customer needs and budgeting requirements

　　Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, and construction

　　Scope out a project and determine required deliverables

　　Work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

　　Work cooperatively with other designers and disciplines to produce a coordinated set of design documents

　　Communicate with clients, project personnel, and inspecting authorities

　　Track schedule and budget during the duration of a project and anticipate manpower overage or underage

　　Track project scope changes and initiate change orders to management

　　Qualifications:

　　Associate's in Drafting Technology

　　5+ years of experience as a Structural Designer within oil & gas

　　Experience as a Level 3 Designer

　　AutoCAD and CADWorx proficiency

　　Knowledge of the latest edition of the IBC, ACI 318, and AISC

　　Civil design experience not required but a plus
