About the Role:
As Strategic Product Lead you will develop and drive the Novartis Manufacturing and Supply Strategy to optimize performance along the entire operations value chain.
You will act as a single point of contact for the assigned product portfolio for the robust, timely, high-quality and cost-effective supply, issue resolution and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Defines and executes the Product Strategy, Life-Cycle Management Strategy, Supply Risk Management and Product Cost Roadmap to ensure robust, timely, high-quality and cost-effective supply together with SCM (Supply Chain Management), QA (Quality Assurance), Manufacturing Functions, Commercial Operations & Marketing and Development.
• Product strategy representative within Novartis Manufacturing and Supply in various forums, end-to-end interface and team member towards Business Franchises
• Leads cross-functional product teams in a matrix organization
• Liaises with Product Manufacturing Sites and Network, ensuring optimal site and volume allocation for drug substance manufacture, drug product filling, packaging, device assembly, launch and commercialization.
• Defines integrated strategic product manufacturing plans with the objective to optimize value, time and resources and ensure strong execution of plans to achieve KPI targets
• Co-ordinates escalations and resolution for major deviations, crisis management.

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• University degree in Economics, Business and Operations Management or equivalent.
• 5 - 10 years working experience in Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Quality / Finance or similar in manufacturing company preferably within GxP environment.
• Fluency in English. Additional language is a plus.
• Experience in Global Leadership Role (such as Program Manager) or as a Site Production/Supply Unit Head or Quality Unit Head.
• Proven project / program management skills.
• Strategic mind-set with ability to bring different stakeholders together and drive decisions.
• Ability to operate in a complex and rapidly changing business environment.
