We're generating vast amounts of data every day. We use this data to inform everything we do: identify ways to continually make the Uber Carshare experience better for owners and borrowers, understand customer behavior, develop and launch new product offerings, and more. This role will be responsible for developing strategies, such as how we balance our marketplace, target and deploy customer promotions, manage local markets, and identify and solve operational gaps. You will balance improving or innovating new processes with setting and delivering on goals to meet business needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on the US&C Carshare business as we launch from scratch in our region, collaborating deeply with a global team of experienced partners in Australia.
What You'll Do
Make strategic decisions to prioritize within functional area; guide and set goals for the teamDevelop analytical frameworks to support the company in business decision-makingIdentify operational gaps and help improve or innovate processesBuild, maintain, communicate, and present detailed reportingPresent models, findings and insights to senior management to drive business decisionsCollaborate with product, marketing, and other operational teams to ensure that insights inform broader critical initiativesThis role demands excellent stakeholder and project management skills, as well as the ability to both plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with minimal guidanceMonitor, correct, and executing business processes related to vehicle safety, promotions, and pricing
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree requiredAt least 2 years of experienceData-first problem solver with excellent Excel / data analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience of strategy / consulting / business intelligence or related experienceSome high-growth operations, tech, or startup experience is strongly preferredSQL experience strongly preferredOutstanding communication and organization skillsSelf-motivated individual that works well independentlyClear communicatorStrong, demonstrated leadership capabilitiesSelf-motivated, works independently and possesses strong organization and time management skills
For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$98,000 per year - USD$109,000 per year.
