The Strategic Fulfillment Manager will own wing-to-wing fulfillment on Engineered Systems/Material Shipped Direct – suppliers and drive strategic OTD improvements across suppliers in your workstream.

Essential Responsibilities
Drive process improvements by going to Gemba and driving lean activity at suppliers to remove hold points at suppliers and seamless connect with cross functional teams within GE.
Focus on suppliers/part numbers driving majority of LD exposure and reduce LD exposure by over 50% Y-0-Y, by driving standardization of critical commodities, improving supplier performance and lead critical initiatives to drive OTD improvements.
Own supplier performance improvement plans and drive actions to improve OTD, in close partnership with Engineered Systems commodity teams and Value stream Fulfilment team.
Aligning closely with cross functional leaders to identify and assess supplier capabilities, and measure and manage supplier performance.
Partner with engineering to identify and implement corrective actions to minimize/eliminate revision to specifications during project execution (after supplier PO is placed).
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
5+ years in any of Sourcing, Commercial Operations / Sales, Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Operations, or Project Management (prior Sourcing experience highly recommended).
Relevant experience in Power generation / Oil & Gas sectors.
Minimum of 25% travel both domestic and international.

Prior experience in expediting / fulfilment, negotiating, identifying opportunities, supplier management, and cash recoveries.
