　　In our Resources + Industrial (R+I) team we offer services that span the entire project life cycle within the Mining and Industrial sector. From concept to detailed design, engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases, as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.

　　We are looking for a proven Strategic Pursuits Manager to provide a solution focused, proactive approach to tasks and duties in regard to expressions of interest, tenders/bids/proposals, co-ordination of pursuit planning, and preparing new strategic plans across our key Mining clients.

　　You will contribute through your understanding of the bidding procedure and the key drivers for the overall business through building global internal and external relationships with the capture teams and key support resources within a global, multidisciplinary team.

　　This is an exciting and fast-paced role where you will deliver on key strategic plans, seek to grow AECOM R+I projects in to new areas, and participate in driving our ESG commitments in exciting new areas, like decarbonisation and future fuels.

　　Job Description

　　What will a day in this role look like:

　　Support Bid Managers to compete planning and go/no-go meetings for key bids, convert opportunities to bids, develop pursuit plans, assist in developing and monitoring bid schedules.

　　Contribute to winning bid strategies, providing insight from previous winning proposals and share useful re-usable content with the pursuit teams.

　　Coordinate proposal responses, working closely with technical team leaders and marketing team.

　　Be based in our Brisbane Head Office, or Regional Queensland offices in Mackay or Townsville.

　　Qualifications

　　What are we looking for from you?

　　Demonstrable experience in managing pursuits from concept to proposal stage, including preparation of presentations.

　　Proven pursuit management background within Engineering, Mining, Construction or Industrial employer environments.

　　Substantial experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro and document formatting / creation.

　　High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within our global teams.

　　Prior experience and understanding of the importance of timeliness to internal and external clients.
