Job Summary
The Director of Security Architecturerole is responsible for support and direction of the Security Architecture practice discipline. The purpose of the Director of Security Architecture is to lead the Architecture practice, manage a team of Consultants, Senior Consultants, Principal Consultants, and Solutions Architects and support practice development and engagement with clients and field teams.
The Director - Security Architecture will manage the team of consultants and advisors who will consult with customer stakeholders and influencers on security products and services which will enable business and address client risk concerns and objectives.
This Director of Security Architecture will report to the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity Professional Services.
This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to:
Recruit, hire, manage, and retain the team of regional Security Solutions Architects who are responsible for driving revenue and gross margin generated by professional services, managed services, and product sales contributing to their regional respective goals
Collaborate closely with the Director, Cybersecurity Advisory to manage, track, and follow product, managed services, and professional opportunities from initial creation to deal close
Coordinate closely with the other practice areas within the security practice to understand service offerings, strategic capabilities, and overall strategy and vision for the practice
Lead the team with technical ownership of the sales pipeline, representing various products and services opportunities, following up with prospects to discover, defend, and acquire new business
Collaborate and engage with clients to ensure account retention for security solutions and services business in existing accounts
Build strong relationships and trust with the technical decision makers, executive stake holders and own all aspects of technical closure of sales opportunities
Build strong relationships and trust with our vendor and OEM partners to drive engagement with them in the sales process, creating joint selling and cross selling opportunities
Educate clients with product and services trainings, demos and solution deep dives
Collaborate with leaders within the Security Consulting Practice to develop relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 vendor and services partners
Educate, develop, and enable sales teams on technical selling, product training, services and technology trends by setting up formal training and relationship building as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
Minimum 10 years client-facing experience working on complex security infrastructure deployments
Required Skills
Strong fundamental understanding of technical and non-technical security solutions and how they address client risk exposure and use cases.
Strong fundamental understanding of security services engagements and how they address client risk exposure and use cases.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing pre-sales engineering resources, driving pipeline for a pre-sales engineering team, and delivering quality results to a wide client base
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to resolve and close complex technical and selling situations
Ability to train and disseminate information within an area or operation and work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
Ability to influence and lead all aspects of sales cycle and engage appropriate internal and external subject matter experts as needed
Ability to engage and discuss technical and non-technical concepts with a wide array of client audience types including C-Suite, VP/Director, Architect, Engineer and Analyst resources.
Ability to participate and lead demand generation and marketing efforts focused on pipeline generation when needed.
Ability to monitor employee performance in a fair and consistent manner and provide actionable feedback, address personnel issues, and provide employee recognition
Delegation skills with the ability to efficiently and effectively assign tasks to staff by identifying their skillsets while ensuring staff accountability and productivity

Unique Requirements
This position will require travel up to 25% for client related meetingsAdditional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $265,000 - $340,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
