　　The store systems developer intern will gain experience in supporting the software and applications needs of our stores and associates. During the program the candidate will participate in related team activities throughout the software development lifecycle including design, development, test, and implementation.Responsibilities

　　Analyze existing code to determine functionality and opportunity for enhancement.Program new or enhanced capabilities based on requirement specifications.Assist with business partner questions and researchTest code and prove quality and accuracy before deployment.Estimate delivery time frames based on information provided on programming scope.Commit to delivery deadlines based on estimations and project schedule needs.Take part in research efforts to identify opportunities for and implement new technology solutions when appropriate.Document existing systems and new development using industry standard design documentation methods.Document standards and internal processesQualifications

　　C or C based language experience is preferredBASIC language experienced also a plusLinux/Unix Operating SystemsJavaEESpring FrameworkPythonProgram and system DesignProgram testing and Quality assuranceProblem solving skillsInterest in learning about builder supply & construction industry and company business practicesExperience in Design Documentation, Data Flow Diagram and Process Spec developmentSystem Troubleshooting and AnalysisExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong analytical, problem-solving, deductive reasoning and critical thinking skillsA willingness to learn new technology to solve business problemsStrong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speedAbility to communicate to project team, business partners and senior management with the appropriate information at each levelPursuing BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science
