　　Job Description

　　To supervise the day-to-day operation of the department for a given shift. Control and distribution of operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards, supervision of all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks.

　　Responsibilities

　　Essential Functions:

　　Responsible for all personnel under his/her supervisor

　　Responsible for the proper cleaning, rack and distribution of all china, silver and glassware.

　　Maintains required standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

　　Make shift report as required by the Executive Steward.

　　Reviews and reinforces operating procedures with his/her shift.

　　Minimize breakage of circulating equipment.

　　Responsible for handling all aspects of Health Department and EcoSure reporting.

　　Responsible for scheduling adjustments that need to be made.

　　Ability to order products from warehouse when necessary.

　　Ability to order items for the department through the ordering system as necessary.

　　Tools and Equipment:

　　Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart, computer use to include Microsoft Word and Excel.

　　Working Environment:

　　Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.

　　Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.

　　Exposure to food items and beverages.
