　　The Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech) holds accountability to provide and assure that medical/surgical instrumentation, supplies, and equipment, both sterile and non-sterile, are cleaned, prepared, processed, stored and distributed appropriately for patient care use. Daily work assignment varies according to the surgical patient volume and will be determined based on the areas of greatest need.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:1. High School education or equivalent2. Sterile Processing Certification

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1. Ability to lift and move at least 40 pounds.2. Ability to reach overhead.3. Ability to remain calm, continue to function effectively and develop priorities during stressful situations.4. Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal media.5. Ability to move an operate equipment and carry supplies.6. Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
