　　The Statutory Controller EMEA (w/m/d) will be part of our local Finance Department, reporting to the Controller EMEA Manager.

　　The position requires to be based in Budapest. Depending on the residence of the person, and his specific needs, we are open to take in consideration either a hybrid solution, or a remote one (with the request to be at the office when important meetings occur).

　　What you’ll do:

　　Support the Delivery model for the preparation of our Statutory Accounts in EMEA (for multiple countries as Germany and Spain) and organize the preparation & completion of the S2G for Entities in scope

　　Manage the statutory account reconciliation audit process to drive consistency and accuracy

　　Preparation of annual statutory accounts and ensure these are completed to a good standard, with no/minimal audit findings, and filed by the earlier of the local statutory deadline or the Danaher internal deadline

　　Ensure any issues are addressed or escalated timely to prevent any audit delays or cost overruns.

　　Key contact with PwC and Danaher Corporate Tax for the preparation and submission of Corporate Tax filings for these entities. Ensure that information provided is timely and accurate.

　　Maintain an annual statutory/tax compliance calendar to ensure all submissions are completed on time, including but not limited to statutory filings, corporate governance filings, tax filings and tax payments on account

　　Completion of internal Danaher tax reporting requirements.

　　Assist the Financial Controller and support the process teams in the ongoing review of open or unreconciled items to ensure these are closed out timely and maintained within the KPI targets

　　Ensure local tax requirements are complied with including but not limited to ongoing monitoring of compliance of tolling requirements

　　Responsible for the Hungarian entity’s statutory and US GAAP accounting, tax compliance, timely filings, EY audit, etc.

　　Occasionally some local administrative task

　　Who you are:

　　University’s degree in Accounting or Finance

　　Experience with local statutory (Hungary GAAP)

　　Working experience in a Finance Department of a multinational company applying international standards (US-GAAP or IFRS)

　　Extended knowledge in financial data analysis, excel, international financial reporting requirements and basic knowledge in taxes

　　Fluent Hungarian and English

　　It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

　　within a public US listing of the ultimate Holding

　　A dditional language skills like German, Italian, Spanish
