　　The AI Center of Excellence is looking for a seasoned Watsonx Solution Architect experienced in designing and implementing LLM applications. The Watsonx Solution Architect will play a key role in ensuring our software solutions are of the highest quality, fit for purpose, and optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.

　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　About the Team:

　　The AI Center of Excellence brings together teams across Infrastructure, including Watsonx and IBM Research, to develop solutions that integrate AI to improve productivity and streamline processes. The CoE actively supports teams in the successful design and development of their AI projects, while proactively seeking opportunities to build reusable artifacts that benefits multiple project teams across the organization.

　　As part of our dynamic team, reporting directly to the CTO of IBM Infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of talented technical experts, passionate about innovation, to bring AI solutions to life.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Architecture: Define the architecture of our LLM applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements

　　Test Strategy: Develop robust testing plans, define quality metrics, and ensure deliverables consistently meet these standards

　　Leadership: Guide the engineering team through various stages of the Engineering Pipeline

　　Stay Current: Stay up to date on the latest developments in AI, NLP, and ML, proposing new innovative techniques and technologies

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field

　　8+ years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect

　　Knowledge of the IBM Cloud platforms or another as-a-service platform and its architecture (AWS, Azure, etc)

　　Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java

　　Strong understanding of ML and LLMs and applying these principles in a variety of business applications

　　Demonstrated success in overseeing the implementation of architectural solutions from conception to delivery.

　　Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success in guiding engineering teams to success

　　Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

　　Proficient with one or more project management tools - Jira, Git, Aha, etc.

　　Experience with agile software development

　　Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

　　Experience in working with large teams distributed across geographical locations and time zones

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Knowledge of LLM's like Hugging Face Models

　　Knowledge of Watsonx product portfolio

　　Certifications in relevant technologies or architectures.

　　Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery

　　Experience with Enterprise Design Thinking Methodologies
