As a Statewide Program Director for LSS Meals you will, assist the Senior Director in the oversight of statewide LSS Meals Services through directing and managing LSS Meals production.This work involves building and managing relationships with hospitals and insurance providers, Area Agencies on Aging, County Social and/or Human Services, schools, daycares, and other youth serving agencies, food and production procurement contacts and other entities.Networking with potential clients and manager/directors of service areas to expand service.Financial oversight of budgets to ensure that operational and capital budgets (where appropriate) are met.Fostering an environment for staff to develop, grow, and achieve personal outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or associate Degree. Registered Dietician. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Service operations and supervision preferably in Nutrition and/or Older Adult and Community Based Services. Preference for experience with Health Care. Experience with food programs such as Older Americans Act, Child and Adult Care Food Program, School lunch program. Two years' experience working with vulnerable populations, volunteers, and community partners. Driver's license required. Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance is required. Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required. Ability to accept/follow through with direction, recognize boundaries, be creative and suggest/implement strategies to enhance the service, patience, self-control, and flexibility. Ability to react appropriately in an emergency. Basic computer skills.
