ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with patient care units to create and implement staffing plans based on unit needs, available resources, and in accordance with established policies and collective bargaining agreements. Applies standard work and critical thinking to adjust staffing plans required to account for unplanned absences, census fluctuations, RN skill mix and changes in unit needs. Maintains a high level of accuracy while supporting multiple areas in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment while meeting deadlines for contracted staff as defined by their collective bargaining agreement and payroll polices. Maintains a working knowledge of established policies, procedures, and payroll practices in performing this role; exceptions are referred to the manager/designee or director as appropriate.
