Title - Project Accountant

　　Location – South Houston (77053)

　　Duration – Direct Hire

　　Construction company located in South Houston is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join their team!

　　Focus Includes:

　　Provide analysis of variances to budget and forecasts, monitor project performance against budget

　　Complete monthly accounting close and deliverables in compliance with GAAP, maintain SOX documentation for projects

　　Assist with forecast cost updates and maintain accuracy in estimated cost to complete

　　Manage relationships with internal team to ensure invoices are paid timely

　　Monthly accruals and reconciliation of accounts receivable

　　Targeting candidates with:

　　Degree in Accounting and 3+ years’ experience with job cost accounting (construction industry preferred)

　　Knowledge of contracts, bids, and proposals

　　Motivated, self-starter with a sense of urgency who is organized and results driven!

　　Knowledge with MS Dynamics/SAP highly preferred and advanced Excel is a MUST!

　　Offering $70-90k depending on experience

　　Position is onsite Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
