Assistant Manager – Installation (Key Accounts)
Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager – Installation (Key Accounts) will manage installation process right from site preparation to handover of vertical transportation equipment complying to all key account projects contractual conditions and specifications. This role will involve opportunities to apply project management skills to manage the installation of equipment and can able to work independently. You will report to Senior Project Manager who will provide you with access to mentorship, training, growth and development opportunities across our highly resilient world changing business.
On a typical day you will:
Ensures safety requirements are complied at project sites by following safety management systems & procedures drawn by company and lead as an example to establish safety culture among the team.
Participates in sales & installation process meetings to understand the customer requirements and align priorities / goals.
Prepares schedules and circulates the projects status reports to the key project stake holders of customer/client. Identifies the critical path activities and resolves any hinderances for smooth flow of installation activities at site as per schedule.
Manages the sub-contractors and their installation teams at different projects and provides necessary support to ensure non-stop installation to achieve desired productivity.
Your direct site supervision during installation will impact in improving the safety culture among installers and technician’s, improves adherence to quality assurance and ethical practices which will in turn helps in delivering a safe & quality product to the end users.
Attends regular and scheduled customer meetings according to the project requirements and demands.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Minimum education qualification required for the role: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering. With 10+ years of experience in the similar industry.
He/She must have good knowledge in interpretation of engineering drawings, viewing AutoCAD drawings and must be well versed in using MS Office applications. Knowledge in programme softwares like MS Project or Primavera would be an added advantage.
Needed frequent travel and visits to construction sites in and around Hyderabad. Close supervision of construction activities to ensure erection is carried out as per company’s standard work procedures.
Proactive communication with customers, problem solving skills, quick learner and conflict management skills required. Shall be an empathic listener to the site team,sub-contractors and their employees.
