　　Your Role

　　Design and implement new features that enhance user experience, improve performance, and integrate seamlessly with third-party applications and APIs.

　　When building software, keep automation and user connection brokering in mind to ensure smooth operation and enhanced user satisfaction.

　　Collaborate closely with product and design teams to bring consumer-grade user experiences to life in a fast-paced work environment.

　　Work closely with development, testing, documentation, and product management teams to deliver top-quality products efficiently.

　　First-year objectives include getting a deep understanding of Nutanix products and tech stack, virtualization infrastructure, cloud platforms, and storage systems. Additionally, you will work with various web and backend technologies, design user interfaces for the target audience, create management and monitoring consoles, and develop efficient deployment APIs for private and public cloud platforms.

　　What You Will Bring

　　You should have a solid understanding of infrastructure, including storage, networking, and containers.

　　Must have experience with virtualized infrastructure such as VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and Microsoft Hyper-V.

　　A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of experience is required for this position.

　　Proficiency in Python, Golang programming is necessary, particularly in the areas of automation and web technologies and frameworks like Gunicorn and REST APIs.

　　It would be great if you have previous experience in building high-performance and secure APIs, as well as proficiency in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Anthos.

Over the past 8 years at Nutanix, I have progressed from a senior engineer to a leadership role. I have impacted SaaS platforms, distributed systems, security, performance, and data. I have built multiple Systems, APIs, and high-performance teams. In my 20-year career, I have worked in various internet and software enterprise companies like Tally Solutions, Yahoo Inc!, and Cisco Systems.

　　How We Work

　　We work in a hybrid style and all our team members enjoy coming to the office 2-3 days a week. We are trying to minimize the number of meetings and nurture the culture of writing and sharing documents, which helped us achieve a more flexible schedule and transparent knowledge sharing. We also have twice-a-week Nutanix lunch days which are a great opportunity to connect with the team and other colleagues in person.

　　The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 172000 and USD $ 344400 per year.

　　However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
