DescriptionResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead the development and implementation of RIT’s Staff Career Architecture in partnership with our vendor consultant. Foster ongoing communication and collaboration between business partners, product and project teams, project stakeholders, and senior campus leaders throughout the project.Collaborate and partner with members of the campus community to ensure that the Staff Career Architecture project provides tangible and sustainable long-term benefits to the University.Facilitate and support change across the University by identifying and incorporating an organizational change management strategy within the overall Staff Career Architecture implementation project plan. Partner with organizations across campus, guiding them with achieving their goals with respect to the Staff Career Architecture project. Proactively engage with the ERP implementation team to ensure that the data structures and workflow requirements of the Staff Career Architecture are well understood and integrated with the ERP implementation plan.Communicate complex concepts and information in an easy-to-understand way.Provide tools, techniques, best practices, teaching, and coaching for Staff Career Architecture team members.The successful candidate will have mastery level knowledge of project management best practices, techniques, and standards and be experienced at incorporating them into project plans and roadmaps.While leading the Staff Career Architecture project, which affects the entire university, you will be expected to effectively maneuver through complex situations. Experience leading complicated, transformational organization-wide initiatives will have prepared you to successfully resolve highly complex and uniquely challenging issues that may be unprecedented at the university.In your role as the Staff Career Architecture project manager, you will frequently communicate with senior leaders across the university. Through your leadership of the Staff Career Architecture project, you will provide guidance, coaching, advice and opinions based on prior complex, transformational projects you have successfully led. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Eight or more years' experience as a project manager for complex, transformational implementations with organization-wide impact.Demonstrated ability to successfully incorporate organizational change management strategies into project planning for complicated, transformational projects. Excellent customer engagement skills, including the ability to assess needs, resolve problems, and manage expectations.Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex issues in an easy-to-understand way.
