Job Summary
Supports the day-to-day operations of the accounting area by preparing journalentries, maintaining the accuracy of general ledger accounts, creatingaccounting reports and supporting management. Aides with the month-end closeprocess and monitors requests sent to the Financial Accounting team.
Responsibilities
Essential FunctionsReconciles and maintains the general ledger accounts.Documents financial transactions by preparing and processing journal entries.Compiles reports monthly, quarterly, and annually for BSE management.Assists with the accurate and timely completion of the month-end closeprocess.Assists branch/regional/department/executive managers with questionsregarding financial statements and reporting.Answers and assigns requests received by the Financial Accounting team.Compiles data for prepaid and accrued expenses, fixed assets, personalproperty taxes and real estate taxes.Non-essential FunctionsAssists with financial audits.Collaborates with Process Improvement Accountant with identifying andimplementing process improvements.Assists with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of a four-year accounting, finance or business administration degree.A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar designation is preferred.Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.Prefer strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel,Word, Access and PowerPoint), Internet, Email and SAP software.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, reading, andcustomer service skills are preferred with the ability to effectively plan andorganize.Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate,responsive and engaged.
