　　You might be the full-time Staff Accountant Robert Half is looking for, if you're interested in becoming a critical part of an innovative company. This position will challenge your skills as your juggle multiple components. You might be a good fit for this Staff Accountant position if you can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. This role's duties include internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Located in the Richmond, California area, this position is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work. 　　This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant to the Controller, located in Richmond, CA. The Assistant to the Controller will perform a range of tasks to support the Controller and Accounting Department, including working with the AP, AR, PR department and supporting the Controller in preparing the weekly & monthly financial reports.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

　　2+ years of experience in accounting or related field

　　Experience with accounting software and MS Excel

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

　　Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and work collaboratively

　　Applicants must work within 50 miles of company headquarters. No relocation fees will be paid by company.
