　　Robert Half is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with an eye for accuracy to fill an exceptional position with a growing Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company. In this very involved Staff Accountant position you will work to produce Cash Flow projections, Financial Statements, and Budgets as well as be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. During the monthly close, you will be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting and support the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will take part in compliance, communicate with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. 　　As a Staff Account Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

　　Take part in various department-wide initiatives

　　Support implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Execute month end close, journal entries, with little supervision

　　Participate in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Ready complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Create monthly statement analysis to be used for management reporting's

　　Report on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Support fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Ad-hoc tasks and special projects, as needed

　　Requirements

　　The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following Requirements:

　　Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Skilled with ERP systems

　　Month end closings experience required

　　Comprehensive knowledge of bank reconciliations

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

　　Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　High attention to detail

　　Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
