Description

　　Robert Half is searching for a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. Many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close will be your responsibility. This position will also require you to participate in compliance, as well as communicate with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. An involved position, you will be producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. This Sewell, New Jersey based firm has a short-term contract position available, and offers an innovative work environment where effort is rewarded.

　　What you get to do every day

　　Maintain intricate journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Create monthly statement analysis to be used for management reporting

　　Take part in various department-wide initiatives

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

　　Take part the in implementation and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Complete month-end close, journal entries, without supervision

　　Report on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Partake in annual closing processes

　　Carry out fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Requirements

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Current and relevant ERP system experience

　　Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Solid understanding of QuickBooks Online

　　Account reconciliation experience

　　Billing experience

　　Expertise in QuickBooks

　　Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills
