Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team! This role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and year-end audits, all while supporting healthcare services that make a difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciling assigned accounts.

Maintain and record investments, cash ledger activity, prepaids, and expense/income accruals.

Contribute to supporting accounts payable tasks as needed and maintaining financial accuracy.

Play an active role in the year-end audit process, including annual physical inventory support.

Collaborate with Directors, Managers, and senior team members on special projects.

What We're Looking For:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.

✔ Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

✔ (Preferred) 3+ years of accounting experience.

✔ (Bonus) Experience with INFOR, Lease Query, or fixed asset/property accounting.

Requirements • Must have a background in the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Prior experience as a Staff Accountant required

• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of maintaining and updating the General Ledger

• Capable of creating and managing Journal Entries

• Experience in handling Month End Close

• Must be skilled in using NetSuite

• Proficiency in Oracle is essential

• Familiarity with QuickBooks required

• SAP skills are a must
