Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Staff Accountant role using QuickBooks online and situated in Walnut Creek, California. As an Accountant, you'll be part of an industry that requires accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Your primary role will be to manage customer credit applications, maintain receivables, credit records, and address customer inquiries. Accurate Month-end reporting on cash flow using Excel for multiple professionals and company locations will be key to success. Work closely with Finance Mgr. in a busy, high vol. dept.

Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting functions meticulously

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Conduct account reconciliations as required

• Manage accounts payable effectively

• Perform administrative tasks as required to support accounting functions.

• Month-end reports on Balance Sheets for multiple locations using Excel and QuickBooks Online

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

• Proficiency in Accounting Entries is a necessary skill.

• Practical knowledge of Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience in Account Reconciliation is crucial.

• Familiarity or experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is highly desirable.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in spreadsheet software and accounting software.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
