Job Summary:
Reporting to the Regional AVP of Warehousing, this position is directly responsible for the safe, efficient and effective training of all Warehouse employees in their region. Responsibilities include training the Warehouse Packaging, Shipping & Receiving, Rail, Drayage, CSR, and Pulverizing employees ensuring they are constantly aligned with updated company policies and required training; ensuring all documentation is properly maintained to include all training records and certifications current and in compliance with all governing regulations and Plastic Express policies and procedures; support all company safety, quality and operational initiatives; and effectively communicate to regional AVP all successes, as well as all barriers to success in regards to Warehouse employee training.
Essential Functions/Duties: .
Actively engage with all Warehouse Trainers in your region to ensure training consistency across the organization
Provide feedback and advice to Warehouse Managers, Warehouse Safety Manager, Warehouse AVP and VP
Ensure every job and task is completed in accordance with the company’s Prime Rules of Safety and with respect to company-wide standardization and quality control processes and procedures at every warehouse
Develop and deliver site-specific training, as necessary
Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization
Communicate & assist regularly with your counterpart in other regions to keep entire company standardized and in compliance with required training
Assist Warehouse Managers & AVPs, as necessary
Act as the Warehouse Manager supernumerary, when required
Document and upload training documents in both the MyPE & EHS systems, and any other required databases/systems
Help management identify personal worthy of consideration for promotion and advancement within the company
Subject matter expert on all applicable warehouse tools – Accellos, EHS, etc.
Assist in start-up of future facilities
Travel for Business
Develop and assist in updating current work procedures as needed
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some previous general management experience, ideally within the warehousing industry.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Must be able to travel, work long hours, to include weekends & holidays, when necessary

Position is directly responsible for performing essential training functions in a warehouse and terminal production environment with an emphasis on safety.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, salary position. Days and hours of work may vary.
Travel:
Travel will be required approximately 25% yearly.
