In this role, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. This position will participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. We're looking for people who have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

What you get to do every day

Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision

Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting

Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting

Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

Participate in various department-wide initiatives

Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries Requirements - Skilled with ERP systems

Wide ranging experience with Liens

General familiarity with Enter Vendor Invoices

Quality experience with Enter Vendor Invoices

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

Great attention to detail

2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
