WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in our newly implementedJournal Entry Shared Services Team which is a key component of theAccounting Center of Excellence (\"ACE\"). The establishment of theShared Services is to support the advancement of TNCs goals: sharpeningour focus, strengthening our culture, and driving operationalexcellence. This role will have the opportunity to support organizationwide operational excellence through optimization of people, processes,systems, and compliance via performing and delivering core financeservices/workstreams in accounting. ACE sits within the central FinanceBusiness Unit (BU), which will allow for more standardized processes,creation of more efficiencies and synergy across the core financeservices/workstreams.
Specifically, the Staff Accountant will execute results in the newShared Services Team of ACE, by providing specialized accountingservices at the business unit level. The role will partner with ACEleadership and liaise with BU finance staff to provide guidance andfinancial support and process journal entries for business units.
Position location is flexible within the United States.
The Staff Accountant provides specialized services in processing journalentries, accounting or similar financial activities for a department orbusiness unit. They are an expert in their area of specialization. Theyadminister and maintain finance/accounting activities in accordance withTNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial management.The Staff Accountant provides assistance to staff in their specialtyarea.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Reviews and registers journal entries, interprets results oftransactions and communicates necessary actions needed to comply withaccounting standards and business procedures.
Ensures TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legalrequirements are met.
Rein orces consistency in the organization\'s policies and proceduresand provides support related to relevant field.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING
Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration orrelated field and 3 years\' related experience or equivalentcombination.
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, andregulations.
Experience using automated accounting systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organization skills.
Non-profit accounting experience.
Service orientation and ability to effectively communicate using avariety of media (e.g. email, Zoom, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams,phone).
