Staff Accountant / Auditor

　　Located in Pueblo, COSalary: $60k-$77k

　　CPA firm is seeking a full-time staff accountant / auditor / tax preparer.This position is primarily auditing and tax preparation, with bookkeeping,and payroll services as needed. The right candidate will be personable;detail oriented; adapts easily to changing deadlines; flexible to changingduties and priorities based on client needs; able to prioritize; able toeffectively communicate with other employees to efficiently manage workflow.

　　Responsibilities include:AuditingPrepare year-end financial statementsPrepare income tax returns from clients' accounting recordsPrepare payrolls, payroll tax returns, sales tax returnsAssist bookkeeping staff as needed

　　Qualifications:Degree in accounting or previous experience in public accountingExperience with Microsoft Office productsAbility to organize, manage multiple tasks, and complete tasksefficiently is requiredAbility to work with various clients and their staff is required

　　Positive attributes:Familiarity using QuickBooks, Sage, and Lacerte SoftwareExperience with payroll preparation and knowledge of payroll tax lawsExperience with sales and use tax preparation and knowledge ofapplicable lawsExperience with income tax preparation and knowledge of federal andstate lawsCompetitive salary and benefits package based on applicant'squalifications, experience, and work availability. CPA's or CPAcandidates are preferred but not required. Applicants must be willing toundergo background check and drug screening.

　　Bookkeeping services for CPA firm's clients. Predominately small businessclients receiving assistance with general ledger, interim financialstatements, payroll and sales tax reporting. Job requires use of accountingspreadsheets and word processing software. Bookkeeping 1 year (Required)

　　Previous experience and/or pertinent educational background necessary.
