Title: Staff Accountant

　　Duration: Direct Hire

　　Location: Northwest Houston (77092)

　　Growing Midstream O&G company looking for a Staff Accountant to join the team! Great opportunity for a recent graduate with 1+ year of experience looking to learn the business.

　　Focus includes:

　　Operational accounting including generating invoices, applying customer payments and revenue accounting.

　　Partner closely with the Senior Plant Accounting Analyst assisting with monthly gas settlements.

　　Month end close, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, reporting and general operational accounting support.

　　Maintain producer/operator data information and serve as the primary point of contact for producer customer accounting & payment inquiries.

　　Read/understand commodity contract agreements, track inventory balances and commodity imbalances.

　　Partner and interface closely with the Plant Accounting team, CFO, Contract Administration team, and Commercial operations to ensure accurate processing and upmost customer service to customers & clients.

　　Targeting candidates with:

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 1+ year of experience in a Staff Accounting role (including internships)

　　Strong desire to learn natural gas revenue, midstream (pipeline) and plant accounting. Previous knowledge and understanding natural gas gathering/processing contracts/economics of plant accounting a HUGE +.

　　Strong and extensive Excel knowledge is a MUST! Software experience in W Energy, Sage Intacct and COGNOS preferred.

　　Good communication and interpersonal skills, results-oriented business acumen and passion for people and providing excellent customer service is crucial to success.

　　Targeting $55-65k depending on experience

　　Role sits onsite M-F
