　　Robert Half is offering a permanent position for a skilled Staff Accountant to join their dynamic, rapidly-growing team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be in charge of preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. During the monthly close, you will also be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting. You will put your skills towards the development and implementation of accounting policies. Also, you will take part in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This intricate position is involved in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. This is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area, at a company where effort is rewarded.

　　What you get to do every single day

　　Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

　　Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision

　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Partake in various department-wide initiatives

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions

　　Requirements - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Strong familiarity with journal entries

　　Account reconciliation experience required

　　Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

　　Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
