Description

　　A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time opportunity with a rapidly growing company. As Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will also be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will assist in developing and implementing accounting policies. 　　Responsibilities

　　Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

　　Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions

　　Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

　　Partake in various department-wide initiatives

　　Requirements

　　A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

　　Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the field of accounting.

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel.

　　Strong understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

　　Prior experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP.

　　Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

　　Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

　　Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

　　Possess a strong ethical standard and a commitment to confidentiality.
