As Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will also be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will put your skills towards the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will take part in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and look over schedules for the reporting processes. This role is very integrated as it plays a part in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

　　Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision

　　Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting

　　Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll Requirements - Less than one year of experience required

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

　　Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

　　Be detailed, flexible, and organized

　　Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

　　Experience with ERP systems

　　Proficiency in account reconciliation

　　Foundational knowledge in Analyze Financial Statements

　　Month end closings experience preferred

　　Journal entries experience desired

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
