　　GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

　　Teach technical knowledge in the Welding fieldProvide instruction in the areas of work ethic and life skills which will lead to employment and skills related to the Welding career fieldAffiliation and involvement in the SkillsUSA youth organization and competitionsCoordinate work-related/educational activities within and potentially outside the school facilityOrganizational, classroom management, lesson plan development, and lesson plan implementation skills are essential for success in this position* *

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Must possess or be eligible to receive an Ohio teaching license for WeldingMust have at least five years of work experience in the area of WeldingMust possess the ability to work effectively with youth in an educational settingAbility to read and understand student Individualized Education PlansAbility to create modifications to meet student needs* *

　　SALARY: Placement on the teachers' salary schedule will be based on education, work, and teaching experience.  The minimum starting pay will be $52,800.  The contract consists of 188 days for the first year and 184 days thereafter.
