Description

　　A growing company located in the Humble area is searching for a Staff Accountant on a contract to fulltime basis. The Staff Accountant will report to the CFO and must have experience in QuickBooks. The position is fully in office, but the hours are flexible! This position is contract initially but does have the potential to lead into a permanent position.

　　Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:

　　• Manages the Accounts Payable and Credit Card expense processes

　　• Performs bank and credit card account reconciliation and analysis

　　• Assists with month end closing process

　　• Ensures the accurate and timely filing of state taxes

　　• Calculates monthly depreciation

　　• Processes weekly payments

　　• Collections and applying payments

　　• Assists with payroll as needed

　　• Any other duties assigned

　　Requirements

　　· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

　　· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

　　· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

　　· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　· Ability to prioritize tasks.

　　· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

　　· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.

　　· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience and education.

　　· QuickBooks experience is required.
