Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Staff Accountant.Responsibilities:

　　Perform daily and monthly inventory reconciliations and execute recommended corrections

　　Support the company for inventory adjustments and reports

　　Ad Hoc requests that include inventory discrepancies research, GL account research, and issues of non-compliance related to inventory accounting

　　Assure that proper procedures are adhered to and that adjustments are made in a timely and accurate manner

　　Comprehend the full impact of all inventory transactions on the Balance sheet and P&L accounts

　　Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style, conducive with department goals

　　Assist with all elements of the financial close process to ensure a timely close including: Preparation of month-end journal entries; Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Perform other accounting duties and support finance team members as required or assigned

　　Manage accounting vendor on reviewing of financials and standard accounting work

　　Excel experience

　　Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned

　　Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
