Kelly is assisting our client a large apparel, footwear and accessories company in Appleton, WI with an Staff Accountant role. This is a seasonal position expected to last thru the end of March 2024!

The basics of working as Staff Accountant include:
• Assist with month end close processes, journal entries, analyzing data from SAP
• Reconciling assigned accounts
• Balance sheet reclassification
• Process and assist with questions regarding on revaluation and translation of balance sheet accounts
• Gather and analyze data for tax packages, state audits
• Assist with yearly Sarbanes Oxley Testing
• Assist with special projects, reporting and analysis as needed
• Gather data for internal and external auditors
• Manage special agreements/contracts with agencies

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel) skills required, SAP and Cognos experience preferred
• 1+ years of related accounting experience
• Strong financial acumen skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, self-motivated with the ability to work independently
