　　Our client is looking for a Staff - Senior Accountant to join their team!

　　Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Prepare financial statements and management reports for review by senior management. Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Generate and send customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and follow up on overdue payments. Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide support during internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Track and analyze expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines. Collaborate with department heads to monitor and control expenses. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from a four-year college. Proficiency in a range of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerBI, etc. 2-3 years of related experience as a entry level accountant or staff accountant Experience with general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
